Both arches required rehabilitation
The upper and lower jaws had to be planned together so the final restorations could function as a coordinated bite.
Klinik7 Clinical Case
A radiographically documented upper and lower All-on-6 rehabilitation, showing the transition from severely reduced dentition to implant placement and fixed full-arch restorations.
01. Case Overview
The initial panoramic radiograph shows extensive tooth loss across both arches, with only a limited number of remaining teeth or root structures. The available dentition did not provide a predictable foundation for conventional fixed bridgework across the full mouth.
The rehabilitation objective was to rebuild both arches with a fixed implant-supported solution. Following clinical and radiographic assessment, the documented treatment used six implants in the upper jaw and six implants in the lower jaw.
02. Treatment Needs
03. Clinical Assessment
An All-on-6 plan is not selected from a panoramic image alone. The implant number, distribution and prosthetic design must be coordinated with the patient’s anatomy, bone availability, soft tissues, medical history, restorative space and bite.
Patients considering similar treatment should undergo a complete examination and appropriate three-dimensional imaging where clinically required. Learn more about dental implant suitability.

04. Why This Case Required Detailed Planning
Full-mouth implant treatment involves more than replacing missing teeth. The surgical and restorative stages must be designed as one coordinated plan.
The upper and lower jaws had to be planned together so the final restorations could function as a coordinated bite.
The starting condition offered little remaining dental support for a conventional fixed full-mouth restoration.
Implant positions were planned in relation to bone distribution and the intended fixed full-arch restorations.
Healing, impressions, framework verification and bite adjustment all depended on the accuracy of the earlier stages.
05. Treatment Options Considered
Different replacement options can be appropriate for extensive tooth loss. The documented plan in this case was an upper and lower All-on-6 rehabilitation.
A removable and non-implant option. It can restore appearance and basic function, but it does not provide a fixed implant-supported result.
A removable restoration retained by implants. It can improve stability in selected patients but remains different from a fixed full-arch prosthesis.
A fixed full-arch concept using four implants per arch. The appropriate implant number depends on anatomy, bone distribution, restorative design and clinical judgement. See the All-on-4 treatment page.
Six implants were documented in each arch, providing the implant distribution used to support the final upper and lower fixed full-arch restorations. Read more about All-on-6 implants.
06. Selected Treatment Plan
The supplied radiographic sequence documents the starting condition, the placement of six implants in each jaw and the later fixed prosthetic stage.
07. Treatment Sequence
The exact dates, healing interval and number of visits are not stated on this page. The sequence below reflects the clinical stages visible in the supplied records.
08. Treatment Setting
Full-arch treatment requires coordination between examination, surgical planning, implant placement, prosthetic records, laboratory communication and follow-up. These stages were managed within the Klinik7 clinical workflow in Antalya.
09. Clinical Planning Note
In a full-mouth All-on-6 case, implant placement and the final prosthetic design must be planned together. The objective is not simply to place six implants, but to create a maintainable foundation for a stable bite and fixed full-arch restorations.
10. Radiographic Case Sequence
The panoramic images document the initial condition, implant placement and the final fixed prosthetic stage. Panoramic radiographs are part of the record but do not replace clinical examination or three-dimensional assessment when indicated.
11. Documented Outcome
The final radiograph documents the prosthetic completion of the case, with fixed full-arch restorations supported by six implants in the upper jaw and six implants in the lower jaw.
This page intentionally uses radiographic evidence only. Clinical smile photographs are not available for this case presentation.
12. Aftercare and Maintenance
Fixed full-arch teeth still require daily cleaning and professional maintenance. The exact protocol should follow the treating clinician’s instructions.
Send recent panoramic X-rays or dental photos for initial guidance.
13. Could All-on-6 Be Suitable for You?
Full-arch implant treatment may be considered where there is extensive tooth loss, multiple non-restorable teeth or difficulty using removable dentures. Suitability depends on bone availability, gum health, medical history, smoking, oral hygiene, bite forces and restorative requirements.
The choice between conventional dentures, overdentures, All-on-4, All-on-6 or another implant design must be made after individual assessment. General information about the treatment is available on the dental implants and All-on-6 implants pages.
